Therefore&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica;"&gt;muscle will be burned before fat when in a state of starvation. &amp;nbsp;Just&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica;"&gt;because glycogen stores are depleted doesn’t mean the body will go&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica;"&gt;straight to fat stores for its energy.
